Featuring modern handmade goods from the area’s most talented designers, Porter Flea is Nashville’s definitive pop-up event for independent artists, designers, and artisans.

Cofounders Jessica Maloan, Brent Elrod and Katie Vance launched Nashville’s Porter Flea in July, 2011, with a focus on creators and appreciators of modern handmade goods. Now in its sixth year, the juried and curated, semi-annual market is a family affair, led by Vance, her husband/HollerDesign owner Matt Alexander, and mother, Melinda Vance, who’ll carry forward an emphasis on the handmade art and design movement, local businesses and community building. Along with connecting hundreds of local/regional makers with tens of thousands of shoppers, Porter Flea has earned consistent press praise, including being named Best Artisan Market by the Nashville Scene in 2012, and appearing in Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Native, Forbes Travel Guide, StyleBlueprint and other publications.
